Proposals are encouraged to be creative and must include:

Project description:

• A clear description of the proposed project and applicant’s role in it
• How this project will benefit and improve student life on campus
• What student organization(s) or groups will be directly affected

Itemized Budget:

• A specific grant amount must be requested.
• Itemize expenditures with explanations or justification as appropriate (for
  example, if requesting a particular item, justify why a less-expensive item is not
  appropriate)
• A list of other sources of funding for this project

Project Timeline:

• Steps to be taken to complete this project, and a date or range of
  dates when each step will be completed.

Permissions and approvals: 

• Future maintenance and storage considerations for any property that is
  purchased.
• If Rice land or facilities are needed to complete the project, include approvals for
  the use of those resources.
• Any other relevant approvals, licenses, or permissions needed to complete the
  project in full compliance with the law and institutional policy.
